New Painting

Having a lot of fun making my newest painting wich I can't show until it is finished for the exhibition FILM FOREVER  for De Portretwinkel / Morren Galleries. I can say I am very happy with the person I am paintng :))

15 minute Live Sketches



During our holidays in Italy I made some sketches of my family in pencil on paper.

The 'models' would stay for only 15 minutes and never stop moving..

I had to focus on the things I really wanted to make visible.

And as always I love the faces and the soft shades and light.

This is a painting in oils on wood 50 x 60 cm. It is not yet finished and I am looking for ways to balans tones and light. I am also looking to find balans in the abstract strukture and fine detail.
