Unfortunately yesterday I heard I'm not in the selection of the BP exhibition. Thanks everyone who suported me! I'll be doing what I always do: painting.

New bird in progress

At the moment I'm painting a young bird. It is oil on wood 40 x 60cm. Lots of fun to do!

And the last stage: Finished!

The last couple of weeks I couln't paint because I was moving house but today I was able to finish the portrait of my niece. The background turned out to be the most difficult. It had to fit with the colours and texture of the face.
